"Crocodiles
occur naturally in the rivers and swamps of the north. They have been
heavily hunted in many areas so that the really big crocs are pretty
well gone. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the water is safe though.
Last year thirteen people were killed by crocodiles in Namibia. Now for
a country that is mostly desert and has a small population thirteen
seems quite high."
"Crocodiles
can be great travelers. They can easily travel tens of kilometers across
hills and mountains." |
