"You
do have a good chance of seeing dolphins in Namibia (well Namibian
waters). A family of bottle-nosed dolphins is resident in the waters
between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund. They often swim right next to the
shore (like 5 meters from the beach) to avoid the large ships further
offshore. Tracking them down may be tricky, so to improve your chances
take one of the dolphin and seal boat cruises from Walvis Bay or Long
Beach. Otherwise watch the sea from the Strand at Swakopmund." |
